How To Post an Ad

To post an ad you first need to have an account and be signed into your account.

Once you are logged in click on the “Post an ad free” icon located on the home page

 

Follow the steps on the ad creation screen:

Step 1: Ad Title this should be a title for your ad – such as “1989 Chevy for sale”

             Description  - this is just a description of the item for sale – describe all the options and features of your item.

            Select from one of the following type of ads – please select one of the following options:

     1.      For Sale – if you have an item for sale

     2.      Wanted – if you are looking for an item to buy

     3.      Service – if you are offering a service (businesses)

     4.      Event – If you are advertising an event

     5.      Coupon – if your are offering a coupon special (businesses)

 

Once the type of ad is selected you will be able to enter in the price.

 

Then click “Continue to next step”.

 

 

Step 2.  Choose your category by either the dropdown list or click on the category link.

 

Step 3. Fill in the option fields and drop down lists – some fields are required (notated by an asterisk)

 

Step 4. Upload a photo with your ad. The first 3 photos are free – you can purchase the ability to upload up to 20 photos for a fee of $1.99

To upload your photo click on the “browse” button. A window will appear, you can then browse your computer files to locate you the picture you want to upload. Once you have the image you want select it and click the “open” button. This will put a file reference in the text box. Now click “upload photo”. If your photo is small you should see it appear almost right away. If it is a bit larger you will see a status bar appear as your image is being uploaded. Continue this process for as many photos you want to upload. Once you are done click the “I’m finished uploading photos” button.

 

Step 5. Ad upgrades. If you choose not to purchase any upgrades just click “No Thanks – I’m finished” otherwise you have the option to purchase ad upgrades to make your ad stand out. Select the upgrade(s) you want and click “submit”. An invoice option will appear. To complete your payment click the “Pay Now” button to be redirected to Paypal’s secure site for payment processing.
